WIND OF CHANGE VISIBLE, SAYS MAKEBI ZULU.
Toonse Pamodzi Alliance and Brian Mundubile’s Vice President Makebi Zulu says a strong wind of change is sweeping across Zambia, insisting that the desire for new leadership is evident everywhere he goes.
Mr. Zulu says the people of Zambia have grown weary of the United Party for National Development (UPND) and President Hakainde Hichilema, arguing that the country is ready for a new direction.
He says the rising cost of living under the UPND government has placed immense pressure on ordinary citizens, with many households struggling to afford three meals a day.
Mr. Zulu says the UPND will receive a political shock in the August 13, 2026 General Election because, according to him, Zambians have turned their backs on the ruling party.
“I can tell you that there is a wind of change in Zambia. The good people of this country have resolved that the UPND and Hakainde Hichilema must go. They have failed the country,” he said.
“Look at the cost of living. How many people can afford three meals a day? Forget about those UPND cadres because they get handouts, but what about ordinary citizens who have no connection to the UPND?”
Mr. Zulu says that if elected into office, his alliance’s priority will be to improve the standard of living for all Zambians, regardless of their political affiliation or connections.
“We need to improve the standard of living for everyone, even those without connections. We want to see ordinary Zambians affording three meals a day, unlike what is happening under the UPND,” he stated.
