Netanyahu Says Israel Ready for War if Iran–U.S. Conflict Escalates
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has declared that Israel is fully prepared for the possibility of war should the confrontation between Iran and the United States escalate further, signaling that the Israeli military is on heightened alert.
According to Netanyahu, he has convened a series of emergency meetings with Israel’s General Staff and senior security officials to review operational plans and prepare for every possible scenario arising from the rapidly deteriorating security situation across the Middle East.
The prime minister warned that any direct Iranian attack on Israel would trigger an “unprecedented response,” emphasizing that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) are ready to act decisively against any threat to the country’s security.
The remarks come as regional tensions continue to rise following intensified exchanges involving Iran, U.S. forces, and key strategic infrastructure across the Gulf. Israeli officials have repeatedly warned that any expansion of the conflict could draw additional countries into a wider regional war.
