US Issues Level 4 Travel Warning for 11 African Countries

The US State Department has placed 11 African countries on its highest travel alert.



Citizens are being advised not to travel there due to serious security threats and limited consular assistance.



The countries listed are: Burkina Faso, Libya, Central African Republic, Chad, Democratic Republic of Congo, Mali, Niger, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, and Uganda.



These 11 are part of 23 countries worldwide currently under the Level 4 “Do Not Travel” advisory.
