They failed to build toilets at UNZA, can they build airports? Mundubile asks Chisamba electorate
NRPUP Presidential candidate Brian Mundubile says every parent prides in seeing their children in University and as such, this pride should not be disturbed by closures.
Addressing Chisamba electorate Mundubile wondered why UNZA had been closed and implored President Hakainde Hichilema to fully open the school.
“Any parent is happy when children are in University, right? As we talk, the University of Zambia has been closed, they are failing to open.
“President Hakainde Hichiema, allow me to appeal to you through this platform. Could you please open the University. What are you afraid of? Open the University so that children go and learn,” Mundubile appealed to the Head of State.
He mocked the UPND government’s promise to ensure each Province has an international airport.
“They failed to build toilets at UNZA in five years, and they say they want to build airports, can you believe them? Five years, what have they done for you?” Asked Mundubile.
Recently, President Hakainde Hichilema assured the people of Mansa District in Luapula Province that they would start traveling abroad from a soon to be upgraded Mansa Airport, as opposed to the current practice where people first travel to Lusaka to catch a flight abroad.

It is unfortunate that Brian Mundubile has chosen to criticize the UPND over the recently rehabilitated toilets and showers at the University of Zambia (UNZA). Improvements to sanitation and the learning environment at the university should be welcomed and commended, regardless of which government is responsible.
It is also fair to ask what significant measures the previous PF administration implemented to improve the standards and infrastructure at UNZA during its time in office. Constructive debate should focus on tangible achievements and practical solutions rather than dismissing progress.
Many Zambians remain concerned about issues that arose during the previous administration, including allegations of misconduct and a culture that, at times, appeared to undermine the importance of education and hard work. These concerns deserve thoughtful reflection and accountability.
If Brian Mundubile and his team wish to persuade the electorate, they would be better served by presenting clear policy proposals and offering constructive alternatives instead of criticizing initiatives that contribute to improving public institutions.
It appears that Mundubile will do and say anything to win elections.
And this is the calibre of person you can vote to lead this nation?
Is the University of Zambia not open and students are writing exams?
Ill inform with a lack of leadership skills makes one make such outbursts.
UNZA wasnt built by UPND. The current regime is solving the issues at UNZA. Rigdeway campus has increased bed space. Instead Nkandu Luo an entire Profession failed to address this. In three months the toilet problem has been addressed. What did you do when you were on power?
Pathic Mundubile thats all you are…a pathic person who should have resigned from PF if you saw that this was a problem at UNZA yet you have the nerve to make useless statements like this? Chaps really have no message for Zambians other than petty jibes…childish. No wonder you are referred to as BOYS!
Mundubile you are educated and your children are probably receiving a good education somewhere outside this country, meanwhile you and your cohorts chose to take away meal allowances from students, you gave cadres handouts, and your cadres used to laugh at educated people because they amassed alot money during your PF’s reign.Amassing property just by bullying hard working citizens.Your cadres mocked graduates. You do not want educated peopl, what you are want are thugs like jerabos to be given money so they can once again, beat up your opponents, intimidate civil servants, harass police, beat up nurses,be unlawful and not be held accountable as it was during reign ba PF.Sad
