MUNDUBILE PROMISES TO MAKE CHISAMBA YOUTHS MILLIONAIRES WITHIN TWO YEARS
Brian Mundubile once again set the news agenda at a rally in Chisamba, where he pledged to transform the youth of Chisamba into millionaires within two years.
He emphasized that Chisamba’s economic strengths, particularly in mining and agriculture, provide a solid foundation for this ambitious goal.
Mundubile highlighted the region’s fertile lands as a critical asset. He outlined plans to launch intensive agricultural training programs aimed at equipping young people with modern farming techniques, crop diversification skills, and sustainable practices.
In addition, he promised improved access to quality seeds, fertilizers, and farming equipment through subsidies or microloans, which would enable youth farmers to significantly increase their crop yields.
To further empower young entrepreneurs, Mundubile proposed the creation of cooperative farming ventures and agribusiness hubs where resources could be pooled, costs reduced, and market negotiating power enhanced.
He also stressed the importance of value addition by processing crops into packaged goods, allowing young farmers to capture higher profit margins and access broader markets at the regional and national levels.
Turning to mining, Mundubile revealed that his strategy includes establishing training centers to develop youth skills in mining technology, safety, and management.
He intends to facilitate youth participation in mining through easier access to licenses and partnerships with established companies, as well as encouraging small-scale mining cooperatives that will spread investment costs and profits among members. Importantly, he insisted that environmental sustainability and regulatory compliance would form the backbone of these mining initiatives.
Mundubile also recognized that access to finance was indispensable for the success of these projects. His policies would expand youth-friendly microfinance, grant programs, and financial literacy training, alongside mentorship on business planning.
He underscored that upgrading rural infrastructure such as roads, storage, and electricity is vital to lowering operational expenses and attracting investment. Furthermore, he outlined plans to leverage digital platforms to connect young producers with markets and suppliers, accelerating business growth and income generation.
Mundubile said that by combining education, resource accessibility, cooperative enterprises, supportive financial frameworks, and improved infrastructure, his administration aims to unlock the economic potential of Chisamba’s youth.
Although the timeline of two years is ambitious, he expressed confidence that with strong leadership and active community involvement, this vision of youth economic empowerment could become a transformative reality for the region.
