TAYALI REJECTS COMPARISONS TO THE CASES OF JAY JAY BANDA AND EMMANUEL MWAMBA

Economic and Equity Party Leader Chilufya Tayali has expressed frustration over calls from some members of the public for his re-arrest, following his return to Zambia after previously leaving the country while facing criminal cases.
Mr. Tayali alleged that those demanding his arrest are motivated by his decision to endorse President Hakainde Hichilema, despite previously receiving support and sureties from individuals aligned with the opposition.
Speaking during a Facebook livestream, the controversial social commentator argued that his legal circumstances should not be compared to those of former Petauke Member of Parliament and Patriotic Front member Emmanuel Mwamba.
Mr. Tayali maintained that the criticism would not deter him, reiterating his unwavering support for President Hakainde Hichilema.
