Lameck Banda leaves for Italy after Lecce warning!
Italy-based Chipolopolo striker Lameck Banda has finally returned to Italy after his club, Lecce, threatened disciplinary action over his delayed return
Banda, accompanied by his newly-wedded wife, boarded an Ethiopian Airlines flight from Kenneth Kaunda International Airport –KKIA- on Wednesday afternoon.
The forward declined to comment when approached by journalists in the departure lounge.
Earlier, Lecce announced through its official channels that Banda had failed to report for pre-season training despite being instructed to do so.
The Serie A club warned that he could face disciplinary action over his absence.
