MIRACLES ARE RARE IN POLITICS, FR. FRANK BWALYA TELLS TOONSE TO PREPARE FOR DEFEAT
United Party for National Development (UPND) Presidential Media Team Director Fr. Frank Bwalya says miracles are rare in politics, urging the Toonse Pamodzi Alliance to prepare for what he describes as a humiliating defeat in the August 2026 General Elections.
Fr. Bwalya questioned what kind of miracle the opposition alliance could perform to win the elections, saying he expects Toonse to fare poorly in the presidential, parliamentary, council chairperson, and councillor races.
“I wonder what kind of miracle our friends in Toonse will pull off to win these elections. But I can tell you that miracles in politics are not common. It would be the first of its kind to happen in the world,” he said.
“Toonse must come to the realization that they will perform poorly in the presidential, Member of Parliament, council chairperson, and councillor elections. There is no way they can pull this off,” he said.
