Ukrainian Drone Strikes on Wildberries Warehouses Could Cause Up to $2 Billion in Damage, Estonian Intelligence Says
Damage caused by recent Ukrainian strikes on logistics facilities belonging to Russian online retailer Wildberries could reach as high as $2 billion, according to a new assessment from Estonia’s Defense Forces Intelligence Center.
The report claims that Ukrainian drones targeted Wildberries warehouse and logistics hubs across several Russian regions, including the Moscow and Tambov areas, as well as the Krasnodar and Stavropol regions, during the past week.
Although Wildberries is primarily known as a civilian e-commerce platform, Estonian intelligence stated that the company’s logistics network has reportedly been used to support Russia’s military supply chain, including the delivery of equipment and materials to Russian forces.
The strikes are part of Ukraine’s broader campaign to disrupt infrastructure that Kyiv believes contributes to Russia’s war effort by targeting logistics, energy facilities, and industrial sites linked to military operations.
Russian authorities have not confirmed the full extent of the reported damage, while Wildberries has yet to provide an official estimate of losses. If the $2 billion figure is confirmed, the attacks would represent one of the most costly disruptions to a Russian civilian-linked logistics network since the escalation of the war.
The developments highlight the expanding battlefield beyond front-line positions, with both sides increasingly targeting strategic infrastructure in an effort to weaken each other’s military capabilities.
