I love Hichilema cause he appointed me PS, says Thabo Kawana
INFORMATION and Media Permanent Secretary Thabo Kawana has revealed the reason he loves President Hakainde Hichilema saying the Head of State is the first to appoint and swear him in as Permanent Secretary.
Speaking on Kenny T Podcast, Kawana revealed that before he was appointed, President Hichilema ran a thorough background check of him and confirmed that he was not a drunkard and that he never had serious issues with women.
Kawana shared that, he learned of his appointment as Permanent Secretary through a ZNBC, because earlier, he avoided calls thinking it was the cadres calling to ask for money.
“I love Hakainde Hichilema because he is the first and only President who made me go into State House to hold a Bible to swear because I was getting appointed.
“I have been there so many times. I don’t know how many times I have been there to escort people. I was known by everyone to the extent that walls knew me and I knew every corner of State House,” Kawana said.
