Today, Mundubile’s alliance idolises Lungu because he validated a corrupt livelihood that enriched a select few while systematically robbing the wider Zambian population of the prosperity they rightfully deserved.
The Cult Of Personality And Induced Mental Destitution
The fourth manifestation of the Lungu era is the emergence of radicalised followers who appear to be on the verge of total mental collapse. The psychological damage inflicted by his governance has left a trail of completely disoriented individuals who are openly scorned by the public as “Ba Grade 3”.
These fanatics exhibit acute mental destitution, blindly weaponising social media and public platforms out of intense, irrational passion for an individual who no longer wields power and has passed away. This deep disorientation exposes how the previous regime warped minds, turning citizens into unthinking, fanatical worshippers who prefer a ghost over real national progress.

Why is Lungu elevated to a cult-like deity when Zambia’s five previous presidents left office without such staggering leadership scandals? Leaders like Kenneth Kaunda, Levy Mwanawasa, and PF founder Michael Sata were laid to rest with quiet dignity. None are weaponised on campaign posters today. True statesmen built a legacy on national vision, whereas Lungu built an empire on transactional greed.
