US strikes have damaged 18 water facilities in southern Iran province, official says
Recent US strikes have damaged 18 water and wastewater facilities in Iran’s southern Hormozgan Province, the provincial water company’s CEO said on Monday.
Ten facilities were completely destroyed, while eight sustained between 50% and 100% damage, Abdolhamid Hamzehpour said.
He said about 5,000 cubic meters of lost water capacity had been restored, but part of the province’s production capacity still required full reconstruction.
