MARCH AND MARCH FIRES NGIZWE MCHUNU, ACCUSES HIM OF UNDERMINING THE ORGANISATION
March and March has announced that it has terminated its working relationship with Ngizwe Mchunu following what it describes as the outcome of an internal investigation.
In a statement, the organisation alleged that its investigation uncovered attempts by certain politicians and business interests to interfere in its activities and create divisions within the movement. It further claimed there were alleged attempts to receive and accept benefits intended to undermine the organisation and compromise its principles.
As a result, March and March said it had decided to end its association with Mchunu with immediate effect, stating that the decision was taken to protect the integrity and independence of the organisation.
At this stage, these are allegations made by March and March. They have not been tested in court, and no independent findings have been released publicly to support the claims. Ngizwe Mchunu’s response to the allegations was also not included in the statement.
