NETANYAHU MAKES RECORD SEVENTH WHITE HOUSE VISIT SINCE GAZA WAR BEGAN
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is visiting the White House for a record seventh meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump since the Gaza war began in October 2023.
The visit makes Netanyahu the foreign leader who has met with Trump at the White House the most during this period, underscoring the close strategic relationship between the United States and Israel.
The two leaders are expected to discuss the ongoing conflict in Gaza, regional security, Iran, efforts to secure the release of hostages, and broader Middle East policy.
According to U.S. government figures, the United States has provided Israel with more than $20 billion in military assistance since the war began, reinforcing Washington’s role as Israel’s principal security partner.
Israel’s military campaign in Gaza has drawn widespread international scrutiny, with some countries and organizations accusing Israel of committing genocide—an allegation Israel strongly denies.
Proceedings related to those allegations remain before international courts. The White House has continued to emphasize its support for Israel’s security while also calling for humanitarian assistance to reach civilians in Gaza.
