HH mocking Zambians with K200 social cash transfer increment – Kalaba

Citizens First (CF) leader Harry Kalaba says President Hakainde Hichilema is mocking Zambians receiving the social cash transfer after he increased the beneficiary amount by only K200 under the current “economic quagmire.”
Reacting to President Hichilema’s announcement that the social cash transfer would be increased from K800 to K1000, Kalaba said he thought President Hichilema was going to utter something serious when he said “ni ulule (should I reveal)” at his rallies, only to hear he had increased the amount by K200.

Kalaba si zo tenga ndalama….these are tax payer resources that you want to dish out like father christmas.
Kalaba is talking the language of a rich man. K200 increase to K800 makes K1,000. This is social cash transfer or free money. To put it in context, the Statutory Minimum Wage for, say Domestic Workers is about K1,300. So, what is Kalaba expecting to pay for social cash transfer? Poor leadership!
