Tayali in Trouble Again
EEP President Chilufya Tayali in trouble after insulting and promoting hate speech against Mazabuka Independent candidate, Garry Nkombo and Mwandi Independent Iris Kaingu.
It is expected that he will be reported for cyber crimes and promotion of hate speech.
Tayali has been convicted for similar offenses in the past.
Under the Cyber Crimes Act, 2025, spreading hate speech, tribalism, and online harassment using a computer or network is strictly prohibited.
Section 22 of the law makes it a criminal offense to publish or share material intended to cause public ridicule, hatred, contempt, or emotional distress.
