The Tonse Pamodzi Alliance has accused President Hakainde Hichilema of misleading Zambians through what it describes as false claims that an opposition government would promote violence if elected in the August 13 General Election.
In a statement issued on Friday, Tonse Pamodzi Alliance National Chairperson Sakwiba Sikota, SC, said the President’s repeated assertions at campaign rallies that the alliance would unleash violence were “false, reckless and designed to instill fear among citizens.”
Sikota said President Hichilema, as Head of State, has a constitutional and moral obligation to unite the nation rather than make statements that could heighten political tensions.

HH is not under pressure, he is just reminding the people of Zambia about the hooliganism, savagery, molestations and killing of innocent people in the previous government.
He is saying they are the same people now with a different name.
He says a crocodile from Kafue river is not different from one in Kariba or Zambezi river they are all dangerous as they have same characteristics.
The PRPUP President consistently says he will rule like ECL, meaning he admired that fashion of leadership and he will uphold and emulate that style.
That is the warning HH is sharing with the people.
I am equally scared, and I wouldn’t fall into that ditch to vote for such people.It is pretty dangerous to vote for PRPPUP.
This man has past his sell by date….His messages are as out of touch as his party.
