Iran Warns of Immediate Response if Diplomatic Deal Collapses
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has reportedly contacted regional partners, including Turkey, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, amid ongoing diplomatic efforts to end the conflict.
Araghchi reportedly warned that despite the latest diplomatic signals, Iran remains prepared to respond if the United States or Israel launches another attack or takes military action that Tehran considers a violation of the emerging understanding.
Iran has signaled that any such response would be “decisive and proportionate,” according to the reported message.
The warning comes as diplomatic efforts continue following the reported agreement on a framework for a potential deal. The situation remains fragile, with further negotiations expected to determine whether the arrangement can lead to a sustained cessation of hostilities.
