Zelenskyy Proposes Air Ceasefire, Energy Truce, and Front-Line Freeze; Ready to Meet Putin

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has proposed a new framework aimed at opening the door to peace negotiations with Russia, according to presidential adviser Mykhailo Podolyak.

Podolyak said Ukraine is offering a mutual air ceasefire, an energy truce to halt attacks on critical infrastructure, and a freeze in fighting along the current front line as initial confidence-building measures.

According to the proposal, once these steps are implemented, Kyiv would be prepared to enter comprehensive peace negotiations with Moscow.

Podolyak also stated that Zelenskyy is willing to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin directly, signaling Ukraine’s readiness for high-level talks if conditions allow.

There has been no immediate official response from the Kremlin regarding the reported proposal. The development comes as diplomatic efforts to reduce hostilities and explore a negotiated settlement continue amid the ongoing conflict.
