Snoop Dogg Reveals What He Got Paid For 1 BILLION Streams
Music streaming in today’s world doesn’t seem to be much a lucrative business for the artist. Unless of course you are Drake or Taylor Swift. But for artists that made their debut before streaming like Snoop Dogg there isn’t much in it for them.
While on a podcast Snoop revealed what he earned for 1 Billion streams on Spotify:
“They just sent me something from Spotify where I got a billion streams, my publisher contacted me and I said break that down how much money is that? That sh*t wasn’t even $45,000 dollars.”
I wonder what Spotify made off the billion streams.
