“Mulichipuba imwe batata; idiots like you; walitumpa”.
These are some of the insults hurled at me by supporters of President Hakainde Hichilema. What crime have I committed? For criticizing him.
And this is just today and yesterday on my page. Here is how regard these people: their mouths are as foul as raw sewerage ponds and open sewerage pipes that you need to hurry past while pinching your nostrils.
A psychological evaluation would describe them as cognitively dysfunctional needing intense therapy and in worst case scenarios pharmacological intervention as well as institutionalization.
This is the clalibre of party members employed as instruments of violence as seen in Kitwe where they damaged motor vehicles belonging to the BM8 team. It’s the same savages that supply human resource to undertake the kind of heinous attacks inflicted on General Kanene.
If you saw Kanene’s injuries, then you know that you are dealing with murderers. But what gives me comfort though is that the majority of UPND supporters are quite decent human beings.
When they engage, they ll deal directly with the arguments raised and offer counter-arguments. If they think I am biased, they ll state so. No hard feelings.
These are just politics, let’s not go gutter. It’s not worth it. If you notice, I can and I do criticise Hichilema and even call his words hollow but I ll never insult nor disrespect him.
Not because he is President but just for being a human being. Every human being was created in God’s image and therefore must be treated with honor and dignity.
When all is said and done, we are brothers and sisters – the creation of our Father in Heaven. We share a common origin and a common destiny.
