Iran Displays Wreckage of U.S. F-15E, MQ-9 and Israeli Hermes 900
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has displayed what it identified as wreckage from a U.S. F-15E Strike Eagle fighter jet, including parts of the cockpit and an ejection seat, after the aircraft was reportedly shot down by Iranian air defenses.
The display also included wreckage identified as belonging to a U.S. MQ-9 Reaper drone and an Israeli Hermes 900 unmanned aircraft, which Iran said were downed during the same period.
The exhibition comes as Tehran highlights the reported shootdowns as evidence of the capabilities of its air defense systems.
