I love Mundubile and Makebi Zulu, confesses Nevers
UPND Alliance member and New Nation Party president Pastor Nevers Mumba says he loves NRPUP Presidential duo Brian Mundubile and Makebi Zulu but wonders if he can trust them to lead the country.
Pastor Mumba claims that NRPUP Presidential candidate Brian Mundubile does not have the capacity to lead the country.
“Where will they get brains to lead the country? Where will they get the energy to lead? Where will they get a heart to lead people? Where will they get the fear of the Lord to lead His people?” Pastor Mumba said
He urged the electorate to remember his voice as a Pastor advising them against voting for the opposition NRPUP candidate and urged them to vote for President Hakainde Hichilema who he says does not joke around.
Pastor Mumba said despite his love for Mundubile and Makebi Zulu, he remains concerned about their ability to provide the leadership the country needs.

Thank you Dr Nevers Mumba. My concern with you even when you quote the word of God is how you have been bought by UPND to the extent that you just want to say what HH wants to hear. If indeed you are a Pastor, we never heard you voice out about the conduct of the UPND government when they went and stole the body of ECL from the mortuary and conducted an illegal postmortem without the consent of any family member ? Up to today you have never said anything and if indeed you haven’t been bought and you are a genuine man of God why haven’t you commented on that act of UPND stealing the body ? Secondly , when HH came into office he never served anywhere in government ; therefore we would consider him a political novice. The people you are referring to in Brian Mundubile and Makebi Zulu have both been Members of Parliament and also Provincial Ministers for Northern and Eastern Provinces respectively. Really your argument of where Brian Mundubile and Makebi Zulu will get brains to run the country does not hold even a bit of water. The President HH goes to Southern Province and makes tribal remarks saying if you vote for the opposition you will stop going to Lusaka because they used to beat you up every time you went to Lusaka before I became president which is a total and complete lie. And you are there listening to the president lie and to you it’s all sweet. What kind of a leader are you who is so selective in the way you analyse national issues ? Is it the issue of not biting the finger that feeds you ? Does speaking the truth to power mean biting the finger that feeds you ? I don’t think so. It’s because your minds are corrupted by the favours you receive to sustain yourself and your family and therefore you have completely lost every sense of balanced criticism even when your heart tells you that the President is wrong , your mouth chooses to bring out what he wants to hear. How peaceful is your conscience with everything you say and support the President even when you know he is lying or wrong ?
Dr Nevers Mumba…..If you want people to take you serious , be objective and speak the truth to power. The Bible says God is the father to the fatherless, husband to the widow and if you are a pastor you are God’s Ambassador. Speak for the widow, speak for the fatherless and speak the truth without fearing that you will offend anyone including your master. Then you will win the respect of the people. And who knows, God may give you the opportunity to lead the very people you have been defending and speaking for. What kind of an ambassador is cared to speak when the values of the country he represents are violated ?
