TURKISH FOREIGN MINISTER: EGYPT TO JOIN MAKKAH JOINT DEFENSE AGREEMENT
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has said that Egypt will join the Makkah Agreement, a joint defense framework currently bringing together Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Pakistan.
Egypt is one of the Arab world’s largest military powers, with significant armed forces and strategic influence in the Middle East.
