TONSE PAMODZI ALLIANCE WEIGHS SOUTHERN CAMPAIGN OVER SECURITY CONCERNS

Leaders of the Tonse Pamodzi Alliance are weighing whether to proceed with their planned campaign activities in Southern Province, amid concerns over the security of their presidential candidate Brian Mundubile and his running mate Makebi Zulu.
Alliance Presidential spokesperson George Chisanga says the leadership is considering the concerns raised by members of the public and other stakeholders, following alleged threats of violence against the opposition alliance.
Mr Chisanga says a decision on whether the alliance will proceed with the Southern Province campaign is expected within the next 24 hours, as the leadership consults on how best to guarantee the safety of its leaders and supporters.
Meanwhile, Tonse Pamodzi Alliance Finance Manager Mutotwe Kafwaya has hit back at Dr Nevers Mumba, who questioned where Brian Mundubile and his running mate Makebi Zulu would get the wisdom to govern Zambia.
Mr Kafwaya says Dr Mumba, as a man of God, should turn to the Bible for the answer, citing James Chapter 1:5, which encourages those who lack wisdom to ask God, who gives generously to all.
He has since advised all citizens to turn up on 13th August to vote for Brian Mundubile unity,improved livelihoods and peace among others.
