Binwell Mpundu has deleted a video in which he said he was ready to die or k!ll for the elections, he has claimed the video was AI-generated

TONSE Alliance Presidential Affairs Chairman Binwell Mpundu says a video circulating on social media, in which he is depicted saying, “I’m ready to die, I’m ready to kill,” was not made by him, describing it as entirely Artificial Intelligence (AI)-generated.
In a Facebook post, Mpundu says he has not had access to his page for several days after he was allegedly removed by a hacker.
He says he is not very active on social media and only became aware of the video after it was posted on his page
Mpundu says his administrators only post content that he has approved, insisting that he did not make or authorise the video in question.
“I’m not very active on social media and I have been made aware of a video posted on my page which is all Artificial Intelligence, as I have not made any such video,” he said.
“I have not had access to my page for days now because I was removed by a hacker, and my admins only post what I approve.”
Mpundu has since urged members of the public to take note that the sentiments expressed in the video did not come from him, while apologising for the content circulated in his name.
“Kindly take note. Apologies for the sentiments circulated in that video. Thank you,” he said.

It is within Mr. Mpundu’s character to make such utterances. It is not the first time he is issuing such threats. During a by-election in the Eastern province when he threatened to unleash violence as a form of self defence.
