KAWANA DISTANCES HIMSELF FROM TRENDING AUDIO SAYING MUNDUBILE WILL WIN, CALLS IT AI-GENERATED
OUTSPOKEN Permanent Secretary Thabo Kawana has denied and distanced himself from an audio recording circulating online in which he appears to say that opposition presidential candidate Brian Mundubile will win Thursday’s election.
Kawana has described the audio as fake and malicious, saying authorities are now on high alert to detect and address such AI-generated content.
The development comes shortly after former Nkana MP Binwell Mpundu also denied involvement in a separate video, saying it was AI-generated and intended to tarnish his reputation.
