ZELENSKYY VOWS RESPONSE TO EVERY RUSSIAN STRIKE AS UKRAINE TARGETS RUSSIA’S OIL INDUSTRY
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has warned that Ukraine will respond to every Russian attack, saying the consequences of the war will increasingly be felt inside Russia itself.
Zelenskyy said Kyiv’s campaign against Russian oil-refining infrastructure is continuing and claimed the strikes are already having a significant impact on Moscow’s energy sector.
“There will be a response from us to every Russian strike. The war will be increasingly felt at home in Russia,” Zelenskyy said.
He added that Ukraine’s operations against Russian oil refineries would continue, describing them as a direct response to Moscow’s ongoing attacks against Ukrainian territory
Zelenskyy argued that the conflict continues primarily because of Russia’s refusal to end the war, signaling that Kyiv intends to maintain pressure on Russian military and economic infrastructure
The latest warning comes as Ukraine continues to expand its use of long-range drones against targets inside Russia, particularly facilities linked to fuel production and military logistics.
Zelenskyy’s message is clear: as long as Russian strikes continue, Ukraine intends to retaliate—and increasingly bring the consequences of the war to Russia’s own territory.
