HUSBAND LOGS OFF WHILE THE INTERNET FEASTS ON HIS WIFE’S VIDEO WITH LIMPOPO BOY

In the latest instalment of Mzansi’s never-ending social media circus, Kevin Shai, the relatively low-profile husband of Johannesburg influencer Matshidiso Matilda, has apparently deactivated his accounts.
The timing could not have been more convenient. An intimate video of his wife and dancer Limpopo Boy (real name Matome Thoka) began circulating on Sunday, 9 August. By Monday his Facebook presence had vanished, leaving the timeline free to speculate, meme and moralise without interruption.
The couple married in 2025 after lobola was paid, and Matshidiso had been posting about her husband with the enthusiasm of a newlywed. Then the private footage surfaced.
Limpopo Boy’s management insists the material was stolen and distributed without consent, calls it a criminal privacy violation, and says legal and cybersecurity teams are working to remove it. Their plea for the public to stop sharing arrived, as these things usually do, after half the country had already watched.
The internet’s favourite detail is the older clip in which Matshidiso forced her husband to apologise for cheating in a dream she had. The man had to say sorry for something that existed only in her subconscious. Now real-life footage involving her and the dancer is the main course.
Social media has not been kind about the contrast.
While Shai has gone quiet, fake accounts claiming to be him have sprung up to fill the silence. Reactions range from genuine sympathy for the husband to open speculation about the future of the marriage, with the usual side order of people demanding the video while pretending they only want context.
Brand-deal chatter and professional fallout for Limpopo Boy continue to swirl, though much of it remains unconfirmed.
Just another ordinary Monday in the influencer-dancer-marriage industrial complex.
