ZELENSKYY CONFIRMS UKRAINIAN STRIKE IN TOBOLSK   MORE THAN 2,500 KM DEEP INSIDE RUSSIA

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has now officially confirmed the Ukrainian strike we reported earlier on Tobolsk in Siberia, putting the distance at more than 2,500 kilometers.

Zelenskyy said Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully hit another facility belonging to Russia’s oil-refining industry, calling the operation a significant achievement and declaring that this region of Russia is now within reach of Ukrainian deep strikes.

That confirmation makes the significance of Tobolsk much clearer.

This is not Belgorod, Kursk or Rostov just across the border. It is Siberia   thousands of kilometers beyond the frontline, across an enormous stretch of Russian territory that Moscow once could reasonably consider insulated from the direct effects of its war.

Zelenskyy also said Ukraine has adjusted its deep-strike priorities for August and promised that more Ukrainian deep strikes will follow, with the objective of making the consequences of the war increasingly tangible inside Russia.
