WE ARE KEENLY INVESTIGATING BINWELL MPUNDU’S STATEMENT — POLICE
Police Spokesperson Godfrey Chilabi says the Service is actively investigating former Nkana Member of Parliament Binwell Mpundu’s viral statement in which he allegedly said he was ready to “kill or be killed” for elections.
Speaking on Sun FM TV’s Zambia Decides, Mr Chilabi revealed that police experts are examining and verifying the video, adding that the Police are taking a keen interest in Mr Mpundu’s utterances.
His comments follow an admission by the Tonse Alliance that Mr Mpundu indeed made remarks to the effect that he was ready to “kill or be killed” for elections.
