🇺🇦 Ukraine Vows to Intensify Deep Strikes Against Russia
Ukraine’s acting Defense Minister Khmara has vowed to intensify military operations against targets deep inside Russia, claiming that Ukrainian strikes will become increasingly difficult for Moscow to counter as Kyiv expands its arsenal and improves the precision of its attacks.
“We will paralyze the Russian military machine,” Khmara said, outlining plans to target military infrastructure, logistics networks, naval assets, energy facilities and companies supporting Russia’s war effort against Ukraine.
He pointed to the recent Ukrainian operation in Novorossiysk as an example of the country’s evolving strike capabilities. According to Khmara, the operation involved a coordinated combination of missiles, jet-powered drones and naval drones, demonstrating what he described as a new level of integration between different Ukrainian weapons systems.
Khmara claimed that Russia had struggled to respond effectively to the coordinated use of these capabilities, arguing that expanding long-range and deep-strike operations against Russian territory should remain one of Ukraine’s highest priorities.
He said Ukraine’s Defense Ministry is working with Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Dmytro Drapatyi, the General Staff, security services, other elements of the defense forces and domestic weapons manufacturers to increase pressure on Russian military capabilities.
Following a meeting chaired by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Khmara said new joint measures had been agreed to strengthen Ukraine’s military campaign.
“Ukrainian operations will become increasingly difficult to counter. Ukraine’s arsenal will grow. Strikes will become more precise. Russia will collapse,” he said.
The remarks signal Kyiv’s continued strategy of combining domestically produced drones and missiles with coordinated operations designed to disrupt Russia’s logistics, military infrastructure, energy systems and defense industry.
Moscow has repeatedly sought to strengthen its air defenses against Ukrainian long-range attacks, while Kyiv has increasingly invested in domestically produced strike drones and other weapons capable of reaching targets far beyond the front line.
The escalation of deep strikes could further intensify the war and increase pressure on Russia’s military-industrial infrastructure as Ukraine seeks to disrupt Moscow’s ability to sustain its operations.
