BREAKING: TONSE SUPPORTERS ARRESTED IN ROMA
Several suspected Tonse Pamodzi Alliance supporters have been arrested along Zambezi Road in Roma after they were found armed with pangas and other weapons.
The group is alleged to have been led by Sean Tembo, who reportedly fled the scene following the incident and is now said to be wanted by police.
The suspects have since been taken into police custody at Chelstone Police Station as investigations continue.
Those buck shots have a serial number. To sell amunnition in this country you have to provide a Gun licence. Follow who imported the shot gun bullets and they will give you the gun licence owner that bought the bullets. Then he will tell you who he gave these bullets…simple.
The Police need to do their job quickly, professionally and without issues.
These wannabe thugs and their handlers need to reminded why laws exist. And the courts need to apply the law….
Zambia should not become Sudan cause of some selfish and arrogant individuals that think “THEY” are the law.
PF and Tonse Alliance elements appear to have embraced a mindset of violence and thuggish behaviour. There are concerns that they may be planning acts of violence and attacks against innocent people in an attempt to blame UPND cadres.
Such evil plans will not succeed. The people have decided to move away from the old politics of violence and the use of dangerous weapons.
The law must be applied fully and impartially against anyone found responsible for political violence, regardless of their political affiliation.
