KALABA URGES CALM AFTER VOTING
Citizens First (CF) party President Harry Kalaba has appealed for calm among Zambians to allow the Electoral Commission of Zambia to conduct due process.
Mr Kalaba cast his vote at Linda Push in Linda township in Lusaka on Thursday.
Speaking after voting, Mr Kalaba stated that he was taking his responsibility as a citizen seriously.
He added that he was encouraging other citizens to equally take up that civic responsibility.
Mr Kalaba observed that the electoral commission must be allowed to finish the whole process.
He noted that the final declaration day should be a day of celebration.
Mr Kalaba said that what brings Zambians together is far greater than what divides them.
He affirmed that national unity should always remain a priority.
Mr Kalaba also urged voters to remain peaceful throughout the entire electoral period.
He emphasised that democracy thrives when citizens respect institutional processes.
The CF leader reiterated his call for patience until the final results are officially announced.
