UPND TAKES FULL CHARGE OF KAPUTA DISTRICT

The ruling United Party for National Development (UPND) has delivered a commanding victory across Kaputa District in Northern Province, taking full charge of the district in a resounding electoral triumph.
From the results announced so far, UPND Presidential Candidate Hakainde Hichilema has secured a landslide victory in Kaputa, while UPND parliamentary candidates Elvis Nkandu and Maxas Ng’onga Kamona have emerged victorious in Kaputa and Kundabwika constituencies, respectively.
The UPND has further retained the Kaputa Council Chairperson seat and swept all 17 local government seats across the district.
