Mysterious Iran Air Cargo Flight IR4705 Draws OSINT Attention
Iran Air Cargo flight IR4705 has attracted growing attention from aviation trackers and security analysts after operating flights between China and Iran using a large Boeing 747 cargo aircraft.
The flight has been linked to routes from China, including Tianjin or Macau, toward Tehran. The cargo reportedly carried aboard the aircraft has not been publicly disclosed.
That secrecy has fueled speculation that the aircraft could be transporting military-related equipment, missile components, air-defense technology or other strategic supplies to Iran at a time when Tehran is seeking to strengthen its defenses.
However, there is currently no publicly verified evidence confirming that IR4705 was carrying weapons or military equipment.
China has denied allegations that it is supplying Iran with offensive weapons, while the flight itself and its movements can be tracked through aviation-monitoring systems.
