Our country, Zambia, is a peaceful and united nation. And we must continue to guard this peace and stability.
Elections anywhere take time, and so do the results. This is the nature of a thorough, credible, and methodical process
In moments like these, the role of leaders is to urge calm, as we wait with patience together, as one nation.
Therefore, we call on all citizens to maintain peace and follow the rule of law as we wait for the outcome.
As we said this morning, our current trajectory is extremely good and assuring but we must all wait, with no exceptions.
May God continue to bless our beloved nation.

Shameless Hakainde Hichilema , just concede defeat , you have lost the elections. Zambians whom you lied to in 2021 have rejected you. You promised heaven and delivered hell to the Zambian people. You had no campaign message because you failed to delivery on all the promises of 2021 especially on the economy. Thank you for giving us hell in the last 5 years. Zambi is bigger than you , Zambia is bigger than UPND. Look at how desperate you are to cling to power; you sent soldiers commandos to go and kill Mundubile at his house as we speak some lives have been lost under your command and you think Zambia will accept you ? No matter how much you intimidate us , no matter how many you will abduct , no matter how many you will assassinate and no matter how many you will kill using you coward soldiers who go branding guns at innocent unarmed people Zambians have spoken. It’s too hard to swallow but hey that’s the game of politics just start packing and go and let the Zambian people go and worship their God. THE WORLD IS WATCHING
