Pezeshkian Vows Never to Defy Iran’s Supreme Leader
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has declared that he will never oppose Iran’s Supreme Leader, saying that maintaining national unity is more important than any other political consideration.
“I have said this many times, and I repeat it again: I will never go against the Leader of Iran,” Pezeshkian said.
He stressed that the statement was not merely a political slogan, but reflected what he described as a fundamental principle for preserving the country’s strength.
“It is not just something I say as a slogan. The reason is that unity is more important to me than other values, because if unity collapses, that power will also collapse,” Pezeshkian said.
His remarks underscore his emphasis on political cohesion and loyalty to Iran’s Supreme Leader as Tehran faces continued internal and external pressures.
