KABUSWE CONCEDES DEFEAT, THANKS CHILILABOMBWE FOR TRUST
Former Mines Minister and UPND Chililabombwe Parliamentary Candidate Paul Kabuswe has conceded defeat in the Chililabombwe Parliamentary Election, expressing heartfelt gratitude to the people for entrusting him with the seat in 2021.
Mr Kabuswe also reaffirmed his loyalty and support for President Hakainde Hichilema and the UPND, saying he remains committed to the President’s vision for Zambia
He writes:
My heartfelt gratitude goes to the people of Chililabombwe for the trust and confidence you placed in me when you elected me as your Area Member of Parliament in 2021.
I remain deeply grateful to Almighty God for His favour, protection and blessings throughout my journey and during the campaigns. I have trusted His timing and guidance at every step, and I continue to place the journey ahead in His hands. 🙏🏾
I also wish to sincerely thank His Excellency Mr President Hakainde Hichilema for the great honour and privilege of appointing me as Minister of Mines and Minerals Development. Serving in this capacity for the past five years has been a tremendous responsibility and an honour that I will forever cherish. I am grateful for the confidence, trust and opportunity to serve our nation.
To the people of Chililabombwe, thank you for standing with me, believing in me and giving me the opportunity to serve you and our country. Your support will always hold a special place in my heart.
I further reaffirm my unwavering loyalty, commitment and support to Mr President Hakainde Hichilema and the United Party for National Development (UPND). I remain committed to the President’s vision of a better Zambia founded on development, unity, peace and prosperity for all.
