LECCE PRESIDENT RESPONDS TO BANDA CLAIMS
Lecce president Saverio Sticchi Damiani has reportedly rejected suggestions that the club took advantage of Lameck Banda’s inability to speak Italian when dealing with his contract.
He reportedly said Banda had previously appeared happy at Lecce and even celebrated reaching 100 appearances for the Italian club.
The situation has since changed dramatically, with Banda’s future now at the centre of a growing dispute between himself, Lecce and Libyan club Al Swehli SC.
