Russia Launches Missile and Drone Strikes Across Ukraine
Russia launched a large-scale overnight aerial attack on multiple Ukrainian cities, using guided missiles and waves of drones, according to Ukrainian authorities.
In Kyiv, missile strikes triggered major fires at commercial buildings, a market area and locations in the Holosiivskyi district. Several people were reported injured.
In Kryvyi Rih, missiles struck the large ArcelorMittal steel complex, forcing parts of the facility to halt operations. Ukrainian authorities also reported casualties in the city.
In Zaporizhzhia, local authorities said the region came under more than 1,200 aerial attacks over a 24-hour period, with two people reported killed.
The latest strikes come amid continued Russian aerial attacks targeting cities and critical infrastructure across Ukraine.
