Danny Pule concedes defeat, says ECZ free to continue announcing his votes obtained!
Christian Democratic Party leader, Danny Pule, says he has accepted that Zambians have not voted for him as president in the August 2026 general elections, despite having brilliant ideas to transform the country.
Apostle Pule says he will now reflect on the election outcome, move on and remain a law-abiding citizen.
Speaking in an interview with RCV News in Lusaka today, Dr. Pule also clarified that he has not asked the Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) to skip his name when announcing the election results.
He said that he has no capacity to make such a request, adding that the responsibility of announcing election results rests with the Commission.
So far, Dr. Pule has polled 893 votes from 161 of the 226 constituencies whose results have been announced.
Dr. Pule has further urged Zambians to continue praying for peace as the remaining election results are expected to be announced.
He stressed the importance of maintaining peace and stability in the country regardless of the outcome of the elections.
