UPND TO ENGAGE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY OVER ALLEGED MILITIA ACTIVITIES LINKED TO NRPUP OFFICIALS.
By: Sun Fm TV Reporter
The United Party for National Development (UPND) says it will write to international organisations over alleged militia activities linked to the National Restoration Party of Zambia (NRPUP).
UPND Media Director Mark Simuuwe says the party intends to engage international bodies, including the African Union (AU), European Union (EU) and Southern African Development Community (SADC), over concerns arising from the alleged militia activities.
Mr. Simuuwe says the matter has raised serious concerns and requires the attention of the international community to know the Caliber of the Opposition.
Meanwhile, Secretary to the Cabinet Patrick Kangwa yesterday announced that individuals recently arrested in connection with the matter were allegedly linked to what he described as military plans involving foreign nationals and illegal military training camps.

That’s why we emphatically rejected that (PF) group of violent gangsters in 2021. It is too soon to forget the pillaging that ensued during their criminal misrule of the country. Never again!! We have firmly set this wicked bunch of hooligans (under the guise of a political party) on a path to political extinction. Good has prevailed over evil.
Never should we forget the devastation wreaked upon our country Zambia, by the PF. It should be passed on from generation to generation.
Those who forget the past are doomed.to repeat it. The Copperbelt seems to have a very short memory.
PF was a disaster for our country.
