Poland Says It Is Preparing for War with Russia and Fears Possible Provocation
Poland is openly preparing for the possibility of a military confrontation with Russia, according to Deputy Defense Minister Cezary Tomczyk.
“We are preparing for war, hoping that it will never happen.”
Warsaw is strengthening its armed forces and expanding its counter-drone capabilities as concerns grow over a possible large-scale Russian provocation in the coming months.
Polish authorities also assess that Russia could rebuild and restore significant military capabilities by 2027, increasing concerns about a potential future confrontation.
