UPND SUPPORTER DIES DURING VICTORY CELEBRATIONS IN NDOLA
What began as celebrations in Ndola’s Mapalo Compound over the presidential election results has turned tragic after a UPND supporter lost his life in the early hours of today.
Chakwa Telala, a youth from Kanyanje Ward in Chifubu Constituency, is reported to have fallen off a moving truck in the Mapalo area when speakers that were mounted on the vehicle came loose and struck him
The incident occurred as supporters of President Hakainde Hichilema marched through the streets to mark the President’s re-election to a second term.
Authorities and UPND officials in the province are yet to release an official statement on the incident.
