UAE Issues Emergency Alert Over Potential Missile Threat
The United Arab Emirates issued an emergency alert to residents warning of a potential missile threat, instructing people to immediately seek shelter inside the nearest secure building.
The warning, issued by the UAE Ministry of Interior, advised residents to stay away from windows, doors and open areas and to await further instructions from authorities.
The alert comes amid heightened regional tensions and follows recent reports of missile launches from Iran toward the UAE. On August 18, the UAE Ministry of Defence said two ballistic missiles launched from Iran toward the country had been detected and fell into the sea.
Authorities have urged residents to rely on official emergency notifications and avoid spreading unverified information while the situation remains under monitoring.
