IN a dramatic twist that mirrors the unpredictable plotlines of his hit television series, veteran Zambian actor Mutale Monde, universally known as Mr Nguzu from the fan-favourite drama Mpali, has publicly extended his congratulations to President Hakainde Hichilema following the 2026 presidential election cycle.

Just weeks prior, Monde was actively on the campaign trail forcefully backing the opposition.
Monde took to his official Facebook page to deliver an effusive message of support directly to the Head of State.
“We are the people of this Republic and love the leadership of this country. Other than that, we love you and God bless you,” Monde said.
