Russia Warns UK of “Inevitable Consequences” Over British-Made Drones Used by Ukraine
Russia has warned the United Kingdom of “inevitable consequences” after a report by The Times claimed that Ukraine had used British-made drones in strikes against Russian oil refineries and logistics facilities.
The Russian Embassy in London accused the UK of being “complicit and co-author” of the attacks, alleging that Britain had deliberately chosen a path of escalation in the war.
Moscow’s warning comes as Britain continues to expand military support for Ukraine. London has pledged to provide Kyiv with up to 150,000 drones by the end of 2026 and says it remains “100%” committed to supporting Ukraine against what it describes as Vladimir Putin’s “illegal invasion.”
The Russian warning raises the prospect of further confrontation between Moscow and London, as Western military assistance to Ukraine increasingly becomes a target of Russian rhetoric and threats.
