MP RASHIDA MULENGA MEETS CHAMBISHI COUNCILLORS TO ALIGN SERVICE DELIVERY
UPND Chambishi Member of Parliament Rashida Mulenga has met newly elected councillors in the constituency to discuss a coordinated approach to service delivery and community development.
Mulenga said the meeting was aimed at strengthening collaboration between her office and the local authority to ensure residents of Chambishi receive improved services.
“In our bid to serve the people of Chambishi better, yesterday I met with newly elected Councillors across the Constituency to discuss a coordinated approach to service delivery,” Mulenga stated.
She said the engagement focused on aligning priorities between the MP’s office and the local authority to ensure that development responds to the needs of communities
“Our focus is simple: to strengthen collaboration, and turn the mandate we have been given into meaningful development for our people,” she added.
Mulenga said the discussions also covered the improvement of basic services, implementation of community projects and effective utilisation of Constituency Development Fund (CDF) resources for the benefit of all wards.
She said close cooperation with councillors would be key to ensuring that development reaches every community in line with the UPND Government’s development agenda.
