Ukraine Reports Long-Range Strikes on Russian Refinery and Military Targets
Ukraine says its forces carried out a series of long-range strikes against targets inside Russia and in the Black Sea over the past 24 hours.
Among the reported targets was the Novokuybyshevsk oil refinery in Russia’s Samara region, located around 1,000 kilometers from the front line.
Ukrainian forces also reported striking a logistics hub in the Samara region, as well as additional targets in the Black Sea.
Ukraine separately reported confirmed damage from previous strikes, including the destruction of a Russian Su-24M aircraft and four pieces of airfield equipment at Saky airfield in occupied Crimea.
In Russia’s Bryansk region, Ukrainian forces also reported destroying relay stations used to control and guide drones
The reported strikes reflect Ukraine’s continued use of long-range weapons to target Russia’s energy, logistics, aviation and military infrastructure far behind the front line.
